You can delete your Plum account from inside the app, without emailing anyone. It takes three taps, and it erases everything logged under the account from Plum’s servers.
If you can’t sign in, or something goes wrong, write to plumsupport@stickyricelabs.com and we’ll take care of it. What Plum stores in the first place is on how Plum handles your data.
Step by step
- Cancel Plum Premium first, if you have it. In iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Plum. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription, because Apple bills it.
- In Plum, open Me, then Security & Privacy. Delete account is at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. Plum signs you out and erases the account and everything logged under it from its servers. It can’t be undone.
Common questions
What gets deleted?
Everything. Your logs, predictions, cycle summaries, birth control settings, preferences, saved tips, feedback you sent, the summary your groups could see and the account itself. The rows are removed from Plum’s servers, not hidden.
What happens to my groups?
You’re removed from every group first. A group you ran passes to another member, and a group with nobody left in it is deleted. Your friends keep their own data.
Can I delete my data but keep the account?
Not in one tap. You can clear any day from the calendar, and you can delete the account and sign up again, which starts you from nothing.
Does deleting the app delete my data?
No. Removing the app from your phone leaves your account on Plum’s servers, ready for the next time you sign in. Use Delete account inside the app to erase it.
I can’t get into the app. Can you delete it for me?
Yes. Email support from the address you signed up with and ask for your account to be deleted. A person handles it.
