Does Plum have ads?

By the Plum team · Checked against the app on October 2, 2026

No. Plum has no ads of any kind, and it doesn’t carry the code that shows them. It’s paid for by Plum Premium, an optional subscription. Tracking your period, predictions, reminders and groups with friends are free.

What no ads means in Plum

You won’t see a banner on the calendar or a video before a screen loads. Tips come from Plum, never from a brand. The only offer Plum shows is its own Premium plan, and closing it leaves the free app as it was.

Behind the screen it goes further. Plum never asks for permission to track you, so it has no advertising ID. It never sells your health data and never shares it with an advertiser. That’s why the Data Used to Track You section of its App Store listing is empty.

One thing does touch advertising, and it runs the other way. Plum buys ads for itself, and an install ID tells it which of those ads brought you in. What you log never goes with it. The privacy label, line by line has the full list.

No ads isn’t the same as not tracked

An app can show no ads and still send data to other companies. Apple makes every developer say so in the Data Used to Track You section, so that’s the line to read. Here’s what it says for the trackers people ask about most.

Which ad-free tracker to pick

Pick Plum if you want to share your cycle with friends. A group sees each other’s period days on one calendar, and nobody pays for it. Pick Euki or drip. if you’d rather nothing leave your phone and you can do without sharing or a backup. Apple’s Cycle Tracking is already on your iPhone if you only need the basics. Our comparison of five trackers goes through each one.
